Russia fest to host ‘Voice of Silence’

Iran documentary ‘Voice of Silence’ has been set to be screened at the 20th edition of Moscow Int’l Festival of Detective Films.

Directed by Panahbarkhoda Rezaei, the documentary is to represent Iran at the Russian film event.

The 72-minute flick is a shocking narration of Iranian photographers about the chemical bombs that Iraqi Ba’ath Army used and other war crimes that they committed during the Iran-Iraq War.

‘Voice of Silence’ was first screened at the competition section of 10th Cinema Verite Film Festival in 2016.

 Founded in 1999, Moscow International Festival of Detective Films deals with works that showcase War and peace, terrorism, and the effect of war on environment.

The 20th edition of the event is slated for April 23rd-27th, 2018.
